Update June 24th 2010 SCARVENGER back in studio for the 2nd album !! The recording of SCARVENGER's second album is on the way... Gutars and drums are done. Bass and vocals will follow soon... This is a 7 tracks concept album. The album title is already chosen and will be revealed in September, with the tracklisting and cover. The album is set to be released in October. Update Jan. 14th 2010 "Better Day To Die" - the 1st album !!! The band is seeking a label to release it ! Scarvenger will release soon its 1st album entitled "Better Day To Die". Christophe Szyszka's communiqué : " 8 tracks were. I am for my part extremely satisfied by the result. It is a long and rigorous work because I took charge of everything, guitars, vocal, bass and drums, but I arrived at the end of the tunnel. I do not have more than to polish up some small details at the level of the mix and masterize the whole. The recording spread out from September 20th till October 20th for all the instruments, and from 5 till 10 November for the vocals. The cover is also done. I can also say to you that 6 new tracks were composed this summer, 2009, thus expect some new, fresh, so a new formula of good Death Metal from Scarvenger ! Update May. 17th 2008 Scarvenger is again forced to be in stand-by, coz Christophe Dufour (drums) was unfortunately accidented at work and operated at a hand. Christophe D. will be absent during 6 weeks so the band won't be able to play shows before september. Then, during these weeks, Christophe S. (guitars/vokills) will compose new tracks and write new lyrics. The band is still looking for a new bassplayer !
Update Mar. 27th 2008 Scarvenger is still looking for a new bass player with its own material ! Extreme motivation wanted for live shows and rehearsals, close to Douai (France) Scarvenger will play in Béthune (France), the 8th of May, 2008.

SCARVENGER and drumer Mickaël Bruniau part ways !
Unfortunately
we have some unpleasant news to bring as well at this point. Due to
personal issues that could not be resolved, SCARVENGER and drummer
Mickaël Bruniau had to part ways.
We (Christophe & Will) decided to play the show in St André (close to Lille - France) last saturday, helped by a tape with the studio drums parts, to respect the fans and organizators of this concert, and to thank our crew to be always with us ! Thanks to all the people who supported us during this so special event !!! Scarvenger
is right now looking for a motivated, very professional and good new
drummer, a person who knows really what death metal is, a person who
knows how difficult is to be an undeground Death Metal band !!!

! That's the reason why we were in studio last weeks... It's time
to reveal the release of a Split CD with DISGUST, a brutal death
metal band from the North of France, like us.
The name of this beast will be "Great Dane's Underground Series Vol 1 : DISGUST vs SCARVENGER" and will be released on a brand new label called GREAT DANE RECORDS !
For info, the CD will contain 4 tracks of each band, will have a pro artwork pro and will be distributed all over France and on our sites. Next step : to reveal to you the exact date of the release of the CD (end of october / beginning of november) and of course, the cover !!! |

Update Sep. 13th 2005 Week 5 - Report : The recording sessions are over ! This week, the remaining vocal parts (very impressive !) have been done by Christophe, and the last bass parts and arrangements by Will. In 2 weeks, we'll return to the studio to mix and master the tracks. We'll be soon able to announce when the CD will be released... We hope this for mid-october / end october. | Update August, 29th 2005 SCARVENGER's in studio !!! Hailz to you all ! SCARVENGER entered in August, 20th, a studio in the north of France to record some titles ! We'll not give more information for the moment, sorry... We prefer to wait until all is finished before announcing which titles will have been recorded, the name of the producer, as well as the label on which the CD will be released. Week 1 - Report : all the drum parts (big sound !!!) are recorded, and some rhythm guitars are done too... We are perfectly in times and motivation is there to 110 % ! Weeks 2 and 3 – Report : all the guitars are done and only 1 track left to be recorded with its bass parts ! |
