SCARVENGER was formed in October 2000 by Christophe SZYSZKA (Guitars-vocals) after he closed the activities of his previous band, DAZED. Christophe played in other death metal bands such as KHROMADEATH (who recorded several demos and a CD several years ago), INFEST (several demos too). SCARVENGER composes in an Old School Death / Thrash style with a technical side taking its influences from bands such as DEATH, OBITUARY, PESTILENCE and the Death Thrash scene of the 90's. Since then, the band has done several gigs in France and passed through some line up changes (drums, bass). Nicolas Sanson, who plays in other musical projects, decided friendly to leave his place in November 2004 to Will "Will Of Death" HIEN as bass player. As it, the machine toured in 2005 to spread its disease ! SCARVENGER recorded in July 2005 with members of DISGUST a pro 4-tracks demo, released on Great Dane Records in december 2004 as a split CD w/ DISGUST called "Great Dane's Underground Serie - Vol 1 : DISGUST vs SCARVENGER". But in early 2006, the drumkit owner decided to leave the band for personal issues, and was replaced by Christophe DUFOUR in april 2007. For personal issues too, unfortunately, Will HIEN had to quit the band at the end of june 2007. The band replaced him officialy by NICO (also bassist in Uncorporal) in January 2009 after some months of rehearsals. But, in mid 2009, after some new concerts, Nico and Chris left the band. Then, Christophe Szyszka decided to record, mix and masterize himself the whole 1st album, entitled Better Day To Die... The band is looking for a serious and motivated label to release this album in 2010. Mid-2010, Christophe has composed the 2nd album. This 7 songs record is a concept album with the mysterious name of Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobie. At the beginning of 2011, Christophe S. is looking for experimented and motivated musicians to unleash the beast on the road once again ! Metal 'til Death !! Line
